Schedule
Weekly hours: 36 or 48 hours/week
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Assignment Details
Guaranteed hours: Minimum 3 shifts per 13 weeks
Requirements

• Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience: Preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Facility charting: Epic (experience required)
• Strong cardiac knowledge required

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a multi-disciplinary ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including hemodynamic and invasive monitoring.
• Administer medications and manage vasoactive drips as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct patient education and support families during critical care situations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation according to facility policies.

Compliance / Notes

• Orientation: 36 hours
• Local rule: No local candidates within 75-mile radius
• RTO: Max 7 days (7+ requires manager approval)
• Vaccines: Flu required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Labs: Must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing
