Faculty.Professor.Research - Full-Time

This is a visiting faculty position within the Division of Medical Physics and Engineering. Appointment will be at the rank of Visiting Professor. D. degree in medical physics or a related field. They will work on projects including AI-driven image reconstruction, image registration and image segmentation. The candidate will apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to solve challenges in today’s image-guided radiation therapy, including real-time low-contrast liver tumor localization, automatic structure segmentation for on-line adaptive radiotherapy, and real-time MRI motion estimation and reconstruction.

The Division of Medical Physics and Engineering currently has 31 faculty-level physicists, 12 full-time dosimetrists, five research/service engineers and many postdoctoral researchers and graduate students.
