Experienced Aerial Lineman Foreman Wanted - Build the Network From the Top Down!!
Location: 100% on-site in Middletown, NY, and the surrounding areas.

Pay: Starts at $43.83/hr (Union)

Job Type: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt

Overtime: CDL A Required: Yes

We're hiring experienced Aerial Lineman Foreman to lead crews building and maintaining outside plant (OSP) fiber optic networks - Personal climbing gaffs required.

Install, remove, maintain, relocate, and repair aerial and underground fiber optic cable and other telecommunication transmission and distribution lines, drop cables and associated hardware.

Inspect, monitor, test and adjust telecommunication transmission lines and cables and distribution systems.

Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures or confined spaces.

Performs all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment.

Record crew productions and time on iPad.

5 + years of experience as a small crew foreman or lead and have the knowledge to detect power space violations and safety issues.

Successful candidates will be required to possess and maintain a CDL A driver's license.

Knowledge of setting poles using digger truck and use of cable placer truck placing strand, copper, and fiber cable.

Must be able to climb pole to cable height using pole climber gaffs.

Must be able to pull and lash fiber.

Must possess and have the ability to safely use hand tools, equipment and climbing gear.

Must be able safely operate mechanized equipment such as; bucket trucks, if needed.

Must have the ability to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck and work aloft and climb poles up to 40 feet.

Must be available for overtime weekday and/or weekend and be willing to travel as required.

Must be able to follow safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment at all times.

Must be able to speak the English language fluently and clearly.

Successful candidates will be subject to complete and maintain a successful pre-employment drug and alcohol test, random testing and MVR check will be completed after date of hire.
