Event Bartender - Restaurant

Join our team as a Bartender and serve up great experiences at UW-Madison's high-energy sporting events! In this role, you'll mix and serve beverages in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner while maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar area. Set up and maintain assigned bar , ensuring all necessary supplies are ready and stocked.
Prepare and store fresh fruit garnishes, juices, and perishables, ensuring high product quality.
Welcome guests warmly , providing excellent service in a friendly and professional manner.
Take and process drink orders , mix, garnish, and present beverages according to standard recipes, practicing prudent portion control.
Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and detect fraudulent IDs.
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and appealing while performing regular cleaning tasks to meet health and safety standards.
Maintain an attractive bar display , arranging bottles and glasses for easy access and visual appeal.
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations.
Positive, team-oriented attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Availability to work all UW-Madison Football games and a majority of events at the Kohl Center.
Willingness to obtain Responsible Alcohol ServSafe Certification & Food Handler's ServSafe Certification .
