TechINT is looking for a skilled individual to work on site at the Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center (TEDAC) Technical Exploitation Unit (TExU). The successful applicant will perform electronic and trend analysis of IEDs and associated components to include device identification, radio frequency and signal characterization, electrical schematic reconstruction, electronic data recovery and possible trends in IED related matters. This will help capture critical information regarding the device's functionality to provide detailed analysis reports to law enforcement organizations, military services, and international partners. Perform circuit analysis of electronic circuits & schematics to determine functionality. Conduct soldering/de-soldering of electronic components, reverse engineering, schematic generation, troubleshooting, and testing. Accurately enter characteristics of devices into databases & other tools for further analysis. We're looking for an electronics technician who can use their skills to apply advanced technical solutions in support of law enforcement investigations.

Our team performs a wide range of technical examinations required to successfully exploit both commercial and custom electronic devices, including performing electronic data recovery and digital forensic examinations to identify and understand information of interest. In addition, you'll conduct reverse engineering and characterization of both the electrical function and communication characteristics of electronic circuits, while using complex instrumentation to test circuit function.

*Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or other applicable field.
Experience testing electronic or electrical devices with standard lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, RF signal generators, waveform generators, audio analyzers, DSP analyzers, and multimeters
Experience performing analysis, generating schematics, and troubleshooting electronic or electrical devices to the component level in various conditions
Knowledge of electronic circuit design and PCB layout
Knowledge of physical interfaces used for inter-IC communication, including I2C, SPI, LPC, or PCIE
Ability to prepare written documents, including reports, test plans, design specifications, requirements documents, and training materials
Ability to brief and present findings to clients, customers, and external partners, interact with client engineers, and respond to technical questions and requests from customers
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time internationally
Experience imaging, extracting, and parsing data from electronic devices
Experience with reverse engineering tools, including IDA Pro, OllyDbg, or Ghidra
Knowledge of microcontroller architecture, including ARM or RISC-V, and assembly language programming
Ability to program with Python, C, and C++ programming languages
