New $2500 Sign-On Bonus is available for full-time positions for new employees!Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient treatment services to adolescents and adults at our 86-bed facility in Panama City, FL and outpatient services to adolescents and adults at our four outpatient centers located throughout the Florida Panhandle. Job Duties:Conduct complete nursing assessment of all admissions including risk assessments (SAO, elopement, assault, suicide); Complete all required nursing documents within established time frame.Actively participate in treatment team meetings & decisions, collect & include data in care plan updates, assess patient needs, design & implement programs, and document / evaluate patient responses.Document nursing care and treatment progression through timely & accurate chart entries & nursing treatment plan updates. Complete treatment plans as per policy. Appropriately notify Physician of changes in condition and other patient issues, as per policy.Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and the milieu. Provide oversight of completion of physician orders, including labs, EKG's and x-rays.Ensure that medication & treatment are administered as prescribed and that documentation reflects the care provided. Complete medication consents from patient or guardian, as per policy.Provide leadership, supervision, and direction to Mental Health Technicians and LPNs. Actively assist nurses and MHT's, keeping safety foremost.May need to assist patients with personal hygiene and ADL's as needed. Provide and document patient and family education.
