Now hiring Machine Operator Location: Santa Clara, CA Pay Rate: $20.00 $31.00 per hour (Based on role, shift, and experience) Schedules: 1st Shift + 3rd Shift + Weekend Shift Real Work. Technical school training or on-the-job machining experience. Inventory experience. Ability to read blueprints and interpret mechanical drawings. Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings to understand specifications. Translating technical instructions into accurate computer commands for machine operation. Loading raw materials and setting up machines for production. Running test pieces to ensure all outputs meet quality and dimensional standards. Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal results. Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following all safety and quality procedures. Cut and prepare raw materials (bar stock) to required specifications using a saw. Complete finishing work on metal parts by utilizing hand-held Dremels, grinders, etc. Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders. Maintain accurate inventory in the ERP system. Store and organize materials using proper labeling and tracking methods. Utilizes a microscope to inspect parts and identify quality issues.
