PAY RANGE: The pay range for this role is $22.57 per hour - (SEIU Local 1877- Salary Schedule)
The Security Team is responsible for the physical security of the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Continuously control building access, guarding against unauthorized entry and activities
Monitor video surveillance system and oversee various computer-related tasks
Monitor electronic access control system, opening doors, creating accounts and assigning access.
Conducts screening using metal detectors, hand wands and x-ray units.
Regularly maintain various registers/security logs
Regularly patrol facility by constant walking and climbing stairs
Identify and correct safety/security issues while escalating issues as needed to Security Supervisor
Provide excellent customer service experiences to enhance experience
Follow safety and security policies, programs and procedures with the ability to manage high pressure situations
Operate vehicle gates, fire alarms and other life safety systems
Shift Information
Shift lengths vary depending on business needs and can be up to 8 hours any day and time of the week including weekends and holidays.
Typical overnight shift: 12:15 AM - 8:15 AM (hours may vary depending on business needs)
Typical Swing shift from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM (schedule varies based on event needs)
~ Most shifts are evenings and weekends with some holidays.

Must be 18 years or older
Must be able to wear SSE assigned uniform during all shifts
Ability to work various shifts, weekends, possibly holidays, and nights
Prior security experience preferred
Bilingual preferred
Ability to operate, transport, and manipulate certain equipment up to 15 pounds with or without accommodation
Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 15 lbs with or without accommodation
Physically navigate stairs and catwalks at SSE facilities during normal work hours and events with or without accommodation
Must be able to go up and down stairs multiple times in a shift
