Job Summary

Medical Surgical with Telemetry RN, located in a rural hospital setting, responsible for providing patient care on medical-surgical telemetry units. This role involves working collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with various diagnoses, including heart failure, diabetes, pneumonia, and chronic kidney disease.

Job Details

Position Description: Responsible for caring for patients with conditions such as CHF, diabetes, PNA, CKD, and musculoskeletal issues. Will manage Cpap, Bipap, and high-flow oxygen patients, and conduct titrations primarily with Heparin.

Certifications & Experience: BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications are required. A minimum of 18 months of recent Medical Surgical with Telemetry experience is necessary. A BSN is not required.

Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Additional Information: Must be able to read strips from telemonitor techs; float to all medical-surgical units including potentially to Progressive Care Unit for Telehold patients.

Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (AHA), ACLS, minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg telemetry experience, and 2 years of experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications: Rural hospital experience highly preferred.
