Job Description Position Title: JR Repairs Tech

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Cutting Repairs Technician to join our team in Wixom, MI. This role is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and refurbishment of laser cutting heads and associated components. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on technical work and has a strong background in electronics or laser cutting systems.

Inspect and diagnose damaged laser cutting heads and optical components

• Support the Repairs Coordinator in preparing accurate customer repair quotes
• Troubleshoot motors, electronics, and system components
• Maintain and manage inventory of commonly used spare parts
• Assist in troubleshooting customer-reported issues related to Precitec cutting systems
• Computer skills (outlook and Microsoft office environment)
• Performs data searches using the internal system.
• Support for customer training
• ability to interpret and follow component maintenance manuals and all other applicable technical documents
• Handling of hand tools, electrical/electronic testers, measuring instruments
• Recommends improvements and works with engineering and other staff team.

Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred

• Experience with electronics or laser cutting systems is a strong plus

Occasional travel to customer sites may be required (less than 10% annually)

· Availability to travel abroad for service and company training (sporadic)
