Travel Registered Nurse RN Care Management

Registered Nurse – Utilization Management in York, PA, United States. Start date 09/01/2026 for a 4-week travel assignment in a long-term care setting. Guaranteed hours 40 per week on a 5x8 daytime shift (days). Weekly pay range $1,981 to $2,137. This assignment is for a travel - temporary placement.

• Contract duration: Shift: 5x8 Days
• Long-term care / nursing home environment

Conduct utilization management reviews to assess medical necessity, level of care, and appropriateness of services.

• Review clinical documentation and care plans; coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the care team.
• Determine discharge planning needs and assist with transitions to appropriate post-acute care when applicable.
• Collaborate with care teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure adherence to regulatory and payer guidelines.
• Document findings, decisions, and care coordination activities in the electronic health record according to policy.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Ability to work in a long-term care setting
• Willingness to work a 5x8 daytime shift
