Head of Programme Management

AECOM is seeking a Program Controls Scheduling Manager for a critical leadership role supporting complex, multi-project programs. In this role, you will lead scheduling efforts across medium to large-scale programs, integrating multiple project schedules into a cohesive program framework while managing interdependencies, risks, and resource alignment. You will partner closely with project managers and senior leadership to guide strategic decisions, provide authoritative scheduling oversight, and ensure program objectives are met from early estimating through construction and closeout.

Spearhead scheduling efforts across multiple projects within the program, ensuring strict alignment with overall program objectives and seamlessly integrating project schedules into a comprehensive program schedule.

Conduct thorough analysis to identify and address interdependencies between projects, proactively mitigating risks and resolving conflicts to maintain program integrity.

Engage in strategic collaboration with project managers to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization, critical to program success.

Provide authoritative scheduling guidance and rigorous oversight to project controls teams, ensuring effective management of individual project elements and overall program cohesion.

Implement and continuously monitor risk mitigation strategies, conducting regular evaluations to ensure their effectiveness and adjust as necessary.

Facilitate clear, concise, and timely communication between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring all parties are fully informed of critical program developments.

Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Experience with schedule management on transportation programs.

Relocation is not available for this position.
