We are seeking a Project Manager 2 to join our Engineering & Sciences Baltimore and Partner Sites (E&S BaPS) Business Operations organization. This role supports an existing team that oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. The Business Operations organization is responsible for a variety of activities focused on enabling the efficient execution of the E&S BaPS organization. The Project Manager will lead various efforts within the Bus Ops organization to include specific activities and alignment to a Director level team within the E&S BaPS organization.As part of the business operations organization, the team provides support to a myriad of activities including preparation of Executive presentations, data compilation and analysis, support to incoming Interns and Pathways, Workforce planning activities, and tracking of organizational resources. What You’ll Get to Do:Partner with next level engineering and division operations managers in an operational cadence to include cyclic reporting and analysis of program and portfolio goals to achieve contractual and organizational objectives.Support budgeting, planning and financial forecasting.Partner with discipline managers to ensure engineering has the facilities & infrastructure to effectively support business execution and growth.Manage and maintain data repositories (e.g; SharePoint, Website content).Planning, coordination, and facilitation of meetings such as leadership off-sites and site visits, functional reviews, staffing and financial reviews, staff meetings, etc.Translate business needs into short / long term engineering functional strategies (people, process, tools, products and services).metrics repository and leading indicators, IPRS, Salesforce).Government Secret ClearanceBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience, Master’s degree with 6 years of experience, Ph.D. with 4 years of experience in Project Management or related discipline fields.Government Secret ClearanceExperience in leadership combined with strong collaboration and team building skills.Experience with prioritizing multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneouslyExperience with leading and delivering complex projectsExperience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Capital/NCTA management, facilities strategies, staffing strategy and resource allocationPreferred Qualifications:Active Secret Clearance or higherExperience working in a dynamic work environmentFamiliarity with Northrop Grumman’s portfolio, product lines, and business planning processes and tools.Knowledge of corporate engineering standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines.Advanced analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, enabling swift, data driven recommendations from both quantitative and qualitative sources.Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with senior leadership across Northrop Grumman and key customer organizations, building strong strategic relationships.Proven track record managing a wide spectrum of program types from research and development and full rate production to logistics support, systems integration, and service delivery.Exposure to program/project management processes and practices, including cross functional coordination, dependency management, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communicationNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.
