Job Summary: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights, Saint Louis, MO. The role supports a 24/7 stepdown ICU environment within a Progressive Care Unit/Telemetry setting. The position is responsible for providing patient care that may include advanced cardiovascular monitoring and interpretation of electrocardiograms (EKGs), with care that can involve tracheostomies, ventilators, and infusion drips. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights, 12 shift hours; minimum 48 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); EKG skills/experience (EKG required, or 1+ year EKG experience); and 1+ years of critical care experience.

Preferred Qualifications: EKG interpretation experience.

Additional Information: Patient mix is 50% medical / 50% telemetry adults; typical patient ratio is 46:1. Equipment includes standard nursing equipment for a telemetry unit, and electronic charting is performed using EPIC.
