Human Resources Manager

Cincinnati Country Day School is seeking an experienced and highly organized human resources manager to oversee the school's human resources administration and support a positive, professional employee experience across the organization. The HR manager will work closely with school leadership and employees to administer benefits, maintain employee records, support onboarding and offboarding, manage employment documentation, and help ensure compliance with school policies and applicable requirements. The ideal candidate is a trusted, service-oriented professional who exercises sound judgment, maintains confidentiality, communicates clearly, and brings strong attention to detail to a broad range of human resources responsibilities.

Assess, implement, maintain, and communicate school employee policies and procedures

Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files and employee records

Serve as the primary liaison with the school's benefits broker and support the administration of employee benefit programs

Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and consistent experience for employees

Maintain and monitor required teaching, staff, and athletic coaching licenses and related documentation

Maintain the school's retirement program roster and related employee information

Monitor and support regulatory compliance related to school employment policies and benefit programs

Respond promptly to employee questions regarding human resources policies, benefits, employment documentation, and related matters

Partner with the CFO and school leadership on human resources matters and other employee-related initiatives as needed

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred

Previous professional experience in human resources, benefits administration, employee relations, or a related area

Knowledge of human resources practices, employee benefits, recordkeeping, and employment-related compliance requirements

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment

Ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring annual processes with accuracy and appropriate follow-through

Proficiency with standard office technology and human resources or benefits administration systems
