Exciting Opportunity for an Endoscopy Nurse!
Job Description:

• Shift: 07:00 - 15:30
• Commitment: 5 Days a Week (8-hour shifts)
• Start: ASAP

• BLS via AHA
• ACLS via AHA
• RN License: Must be valid in state of employment or compact state
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, on-call
• On Call Requirement: 2 weekend call shifts per month and 1 call night per week
• Floating Requirement: May float to other departments within Surgical Services

• As a competent Nurse in a dynamic clinical setting, you will:
• Provide both routine and complex care
• Collaborate to develop long-range goals and plans
• Manage contingencies effectively in clinical nursing
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers

• Meet OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
• Provide nursing care in alignment with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, including:
• Assessment
• Diagnosis
• Planning
• Intervention
• Evaluation for assigned patients
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers

• Education/Skills: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty (preferred)

• BLS via AHA (required)
• ACLS via AHA (required)
• RN License in state of employment or compact

• 5 Days, 8 Hours
• Contract Weeks: 91
