We provide acute inpatient services for Montana clients who have mental health or substance abuse issues.The 40-bed facility offers clinically effective treatment through the collaborative efforts of a team that includes psychiatrists, addictionologists, certified licensed addiction counselors, licensed therapists, psychiatric nurses and mental health specialists. Each staff member is dedicated to delivering results-oriented treatment in a caring and confidential environment.Comprehensive Psychiatric Care – Conduct assessments, develop individualized care plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient recovery.Safety Monitoring & Compliance – Perform regular safety checks, document patient observations, and ensure adherence to facility safety protocols.Crisis Intervention & De-escalation – Respond to Code Gray incidents, use de-escalation techniques, ensure staff and patient safety, and document crisis interventions.Regulatory & Documentation Standards – Maintain accurate patient records, comply with facility regulations, participate in treatment meetings, and stay updated on best practices in psychiatric nursing.What we offer you:12% PRN differential payAdditional shift differential pay401(k) with generous employer match - same benefit as full-time employeesLogan Health Fitness Center membership discountTuition Reimbursement Program and continued education supportA team-centered environment where your ideas and contributions are valuedSupportive, approachable leadership that champions your successOpportunities for continued learning, development, and career growthWhat you'll need to have:Current Montana RN license or a multi state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; Minimum of two (2) years' experience in similar position within a medical setting (e.g., physician office, clinic, or hospital) preferred. Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care.Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR and/or BLS certification requiredRQI Provider (BLS) required within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever occurs first.If you have a passion for mental health care and strong nursing skills we want to hear from you!Shift: Variable (United States of America)Schedule: PRN, Variable shiftsLogan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs.
