Installation, Maintenance and Repair Tech

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production and maintenance teams. Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Shift: Fri - Tue (off Wed & Thu), 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Perform maintenance and repairs (planned, unplanned, emergency) on production, processing, and packaging equipment, as well as utility systems, following all safety procedures

Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections to assess equipment reliability and performance

Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform maintenance tasks

Support the installation of new equipment and assist operators with troubleshooting to minimize downtime

Document all work performed accurately and maintain communication with other departments regarding equipment status and issues

High school diploma or equivalent

• Trade school or technical training in electrical, mechanical, or related fields preferred
• 2 to 4 years of experience in maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electronic systems, preferably in manufacturing
• Experience with various equipment including motor control, process control, and packaging machinery
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals, and use maintenance tools safely and effectively
