Description
Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and create tailored treatment plans
Implement physical therapy techniques focused on enhancing mobility, building strength, improving balance, and promoting functional recovery
Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic aims, discharge strategies, and at-home exercise regimens
Maintain documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress according to facility and regulatory standards
Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and team conferences to assure cohesive care
Education
~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification preferred
Specialized certifications in fields such as neurology or geriatrics are advantageous but not mandatory
Skills
Previous experience is highly desirable
Ability to manage patients with multifaceted medical and mobility challenges
Strong interpersonal communication and collaborative skills
Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems
