Licenses & Certifications

OSHA 10 certification (highly preferred)

Electrician’s license (highly preferred)

Valid driver’s license

About the Role
As an Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned facilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee electrical and lighting systems' operation, repair, and maintenance; perform new installations of equipment.

Check, repair, and replace components of electrical and lighting systems (valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes).

Ensure equipment is maintained and operating safely.

Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.

Provide efficient and reliable service to customers.

Apply general knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.

Maintain broad knowledge of own discipline and some knowledge of other disciplines within the function.

Lead by example, model behaviors aligned with RISE values; may negotiate to reach agreements.

Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.

Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to meet objectives and deadlines.

Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years job‑related experience.

Master Electrician license required as dictated by local electrical codes.

Valid driver’s license.

Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.

In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.

Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Advanced math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide; calculate percentages, discounts, commissions.
