Hospital Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery

RN Position in High Acuity Medical-Surgical/Respiratory Care Unit

Looking for an experienced RN for a high acuity medical-surgical/respiratory care unit. Common patient diagnoses include pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, gastrointestinal bleed, osteomyelitis, diabetic foot infections, hepatic encephalopathy, renal failure, bowel obstruction, end-of-life care, and wound management. The nurse-patient ratio is typically 1:5 and may sometimes go to 1:6. Floating to other units may be required as needed. EMR experience is preferred, particularly with Cerner.
