Psychiatry, Full Time Psychiatry Physician

Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our collaborative and growing Behavioral Health team in Washington, DC.
This psychiatrist will serve as a key member of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality psychiatric care to adults admitted for acute mental health needs. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, team-oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where providers support one another across services to ensure exceptional patient care.
Position Highlights
Adult inpatient psychiatry practice
Voluntary 19-bed inpatient psychiatric unit
Collaborative team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, and behavioral health professionals
Opportunity to participate in outpatient care, if desired
Exposure to innovative treatment modalities including:
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)
Ketamine treatment services

Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Washington, DC
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to teamwork and collaborative practice
