TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified IMC RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801!

Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) | Night Shift
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Projected Start: August 10, 2026
Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 4:1 (up to 5:1 when stretched)
Perform neurological and spinal assessments, including C-collar placement and TLSO brace application
Administer blood transfusions and monitor patients for complications
Operate unit equipment including IV pumps, Skylift, and patient lifts
Float to stepdown and med-surg units as needed; document all care using Cerner EMR
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or through compact licensure
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, stepdown, or similar acute care setting
Demonstrated experience in neuro and trauma care
Strong background in neuro and trauma nursing within a progressive or stepdown care environment
Familiarity with Cerner EMR
Experience with lumbar drain management and tracheostomy care
Work in a well-staffed, structured unit with a defined charge/CNC model and consistent team support on both day and night shifts
Gain valuable experience in a high-acuity neuro and trauma progressive care environment in a desirable location in western North Carolina
