About the Position

Job Title

Travel RN – Pulmonary Stepdown (PCU/IMC)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Pulmonary Stepdown unit with a 1:3–4 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with tracheostomy care, chest tube management, and wound dressing changes
• Monitor and manage patients on cardiac drips and stable ventilated patients
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation
• Float to other med/surg and progressive care units as needed
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements, including 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts per 6-week period

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience working with tracheostomy patients
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced stepdown environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience with Cerner EMR
• Background in progressive care or pulmonary stepdown settings
• Demonstrated flexibility and high level of clinical competence
