Job Title

Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Clinical Decision Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Clinical Decision Unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care and telemetry monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient assessments, care delivery, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate care as clinically appropriate

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, IMC, Stepdown, or comparable acute care setting
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Clinical Decision Unit
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and intermediate cardiac care
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
