Must-Have:
MUST HAVE 18 months of recent Step Down experience.
Must have active required certifications at time of application.
Must work at least every other holiday.
Description:
This position is for a registered nurse specializing in step down care.
The role requires the ability to float to care for the same patient population as needed.
Shifts may be variable to meet the operational needs of the facility, with a preference for either day or night shifts.
Candidates must demonstrate experience in step down or progressive care nursing.
An ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during training, with an acceptable score required.
Travelers will be expected to have a clean background check and should not have any open cases regarding licensure.
Nurses and CSTs are excluded from nicotine-free facility requirements.
A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within 12 months of start.
