Full-time Senior Tax Preparer

We are currently seeking a full-time Sr. Tax Accountant to join our Boca Raton, FL tax office. The Sr Tax Accountant will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax and accounting services. This includes preparing individual and business tax returns, conducting client interviews, and providing guidance on a variety of tax matters.
Conduct client interviews to understand their financial circumstances and gather necessary documentation
- Review client-provided financial data for completeness and accuracy
- Prepare tax returns and provide accounting services for individuals and small businesses. Research and respond to client inquiries on tax and accounting matters
- Analyze financial performance and assist with forecasting and budgeting
- Supervise and mentor junior staff on accounting and tax projects
- Minimum of five years' experience in preparing individual and business tax returns
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Direct experience working with clients and the ability to explain tax and accounting concepts clearly
- At least one year of experience using UltraTax software
- Familiarity with preparing sales and payroll tax filings
