Inventory Control Specialist I
The Inventory Control Specialist I is responsible for maintaining accurate information on inventory levels throughout the facility.
Performs inventory cycle counts.
Works with department managers to maintain accurate inventory information.
Responsible for directing the flow of damaged merchandise.
Serves as back-up for at least one other area of focus within the Inventory Control department.
Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner.
Complies with Bob's Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager.
Proficient in using ERP and supporting software.
Working proficiency with computers and basic software.
Proficiency with job-related tools and equipment.
Proficient in using Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to read, understand, and communicate information in English.
Ability to work in an environment where exposure to potential food allergens is or may be present.
1 or more years of experience in the food packaging industry, AND
~ High school diploma or equivalent; Must have or be able to obtain forklift certification.

The primary work environment for this position is within a food manufacturing and warehouse setting.
Use of personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to, helmets, eye protection, earplugs, and hairnets are mandatory, and the use of non-slip shoes is recommended.
Employees will be exposed to common food allergens.
