Verdence provides personalized service focused on in-depth financial planning and advice serving ultra-high net worth families, business owners, entrepreneurs, executives, elite athletes, and entertainers. The firm assists families of significant wealth in effectively allocating capital through long-term planning and portfolio strategy. They also help to facilitate access to public / private alternative investments, real estate and unique direct deal flow via idea generation, external manager selection and due diligence. To reduce complexity for its clients, the team manages tax accountants and attorneys while facilitating asset acquisition, bill payment and concierge services. They also advise on legacy preservation through estate planning, philanthropy, and family services such as governance, succession planning, risk management and education of future generations.
We’re a growing wealth management firm, and we’re looking for an HR leader who genuinely cares about people and is ready to help us build something lasting. You’ll work closely with our executive team, help shape how we attract and develop talent, and be a steady presence for our advisors and staff as we grow.
Own all HR functions, from hiring and onboarding to total rewards, learning and development, and employee relations, across our advisor and operations teams
- Make sure our HR practices stay compliant with FINRA, SEC, and employment law requirements
- Run performance programs that connect to how our teams measure success
- Manage our HR technology and use people’s data to make better decisions
- HR policies and employee handbook that are held under regulatory scrutiny
- Manage and maintain benefits and payroll
5+ years in HR, with at least 2 years leading a team or function
- Background in financial services, wealth management, an RIA, broker-dealer, or a similarly regulated environment is a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field; a Master’s or MBA is a plus
- Working knowledge of FINRA and SEC requirements as they relate to hiring and HR policy
- Experience scaling HR through growth or post-acquisition integration
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS platform like Workday, ADP, or Rippling
