Banking: Relationship Banker

Weekly Scheduled Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30
The Relationship Banker is a trusted advisor who engages clients in meaningful, consultative conversations to understand their financial goals and align on solutions that meet their needs. In this role, the banker drives growth by actively promoting and selling the bank’s products and services. This role emphasizes deepening client relationships through excellent service, personalized advice, and proactive sales while supporting the banking center’s overall sales goals. Proactive Sales Engagement: Engage clients in consultative conversations to understand financial priorities and recommend personalized banking solutions, with an emphasis on deposit accounts, loans and lines of credit, and referrals to other lines of business within the Bank.
Growth Focus: Actively identify and fulfill client deposit and borrowing needs, guiding clients through deposit and loan options, opening deposit accounts, and taking loan applications.
Client-Centric Financial Advice: Through a consultative approach, provide personalized financial advice that aligns with clients’ short-and-long term goals. Utilize a deep understanding of the bank’s products and services while sharing comprehensive, tailored advice that enhances client satisfaction and loyalty.
Recognize opportunities to deepen relationships with additional products and services and make referrals to bank partners, including but not limited to mortgage, wealth, private client, and business banking.
Proactive Client Outreach: Conduct regular calls to clients and prospects to offer tailored financial solutions.
Responsible for supporting the teller line to keep the customer wait time to a minimum (performs processing of financial transactions as needed).
Enhance individual knowledge to better serve clients by attending relevant sales, service, and product knowledge meetings, training classes, and web-based learning.
Compliance and risk management
Expected compliance with bank regulations, policies, procedures, risk management, internal controls, and the First Horizon code of ethics.
Assist in conducting meetings to promote sales, product knowledge and customer service. Assist Banking Center Manager with training personnel.
Assist banking center management with “on the job training” of new associates.
Assist with dual control vault responsibilities and audit controls.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS
Microsoft Office Suite, SalesforceCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Ex: CPA, Series 6 or 7 license, etc)
NMLS Language
As part of the employment process for this position, you will have to meet the requirements of a background credit check. E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Assessment results must be submitted prior to having your application evaluated by Talent Acquisition
