Exciting Nursing Opportunity: 12-Hour Day Shifts Await!
Job Description:

• Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) with variable start times
• Reporting To: Account Manager - Jordan Hinojos (View email address on click.appcast.io)
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required
• Flu Vaccine: Unknown

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Previous Charge Experience: 2 years
• Patient Ratio Experience: 2:1
• Charting System Experience: Preferred (Epic)
• Travel Experience: Required (at least 1 year)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Preferred Skills:

• Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
• Care of Ventilated Patients
• CVA/Acute Stroke Management
• Hypothermia Protocol/Arctic Sun
• ICP Monitoring
• Infection Prevention
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• Medical and Neuro Intensive Care Unit experience
• Post Craniotomy and Post Neurosurgery Management
• Experience with Spinal Cord Injury and Traumatic Brain Injury

Unit Details:

• Daily Census: 10 patients
• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Staffing Support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and more
• Patient Diagnoses: Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, trauma, and more
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: EVD, CRRT - Prismaflex, CABG, ABP, Impella

Additional Information:

• Scheduling Type: Self-scheduling
• Orientation Hours: 12
• Pre-Approved Time Off: One request allowed
• References Required: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
