Construction Company Seeks HR Generalist

Human Resources Generalist
Baldwin & Shell Construction Company is searching for a Human Resources Generalist who will thrive in our HR team.
The Human Resources Generalist will perform a variety of day-to-day tasks to support the Human Resources department, including employee benefit administration, onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, and HR information systems (HRIS).
Administer the company's employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and voluntary benefits.
Coordinate new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and annual Open Enrollment.
Manage leave requests under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), short-term and long-term disability plans.
Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training sessions, surveys, etc.).
Assist in the development of training content and materials.
Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, company-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
Provide support during recruitment activities such as job fairs and career events.
Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS.
Process employee status changes including hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Have at least four (4) years of experience in Human Resources.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
BambooHR software experience preferred but not required.
