Temp - Phlebotomist - LAB

Phlebotomist – Abington, PA Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Abington, PA.

Work Schedule Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with rotating Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

Enter patient information accurately and timely into data systems.

Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.

Maintain patient and specimen information logs.

Provide superior customer service to all patients.

Perform administrative and clerical duties as required.

Travel to additional sites when needed.

Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience.

Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must be from an accredited agency.

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently or in a team.

Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Work Environment Position may be located in a Patient Service Center or client office, serving as the face of the company and performing skilled specimen collections.

Employees may be eligible for the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
