Head of Project Management

The Machinery Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Rosenberg, TX. This role oversees machinery-related projects from initial customer inquiry through installation and handover, ensuring cost, quality, and schedule requirements are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project timelines, managing vendors and suppliers, monitoring expediting activities, and aligning logistics for machinery delivery and installation. The Machinery Project Manager will review technical specifications, support inspections and quality checks, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and operations teams to resolve issues and optimize project outcomes. The role also involves preparing project documentation, tracking budgets, communicating status updates to stakeholders, and supporting continuous improvement of project and manufacturing processes.

Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating machinery projects from concept to completion.

Expeditor and Expediting experience to manage lead times, track orders, and ensure timely delivery of equipment and components.

Inspection skills to support quality checks on machinery, documentation reviews, and conformity with specifications and safety standards.

Logistics Management skills to coordinate shipping, receiving, installation timelines, and material flow in manufacturing environments.

Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or industrial machinery projects, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering setting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on cost, quality, and efficiency.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, sales, and operations teams.

Proficiency with project management tools and basic CAD or layout software is beneficial.

Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Ability to work on-site in Rosenberg, TX, including occasional visits to customer facilities and vendor locations as needed.
