Full‑time Grill Cook
Location: JACKS - 100 Public Square, Cleveland, OH 44113

Schedule
Friday - Tuesday 8:00 pm - 4:00 am

Pay Range
$16.00 to $18.00 per hour

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years culinary experience; grill cooking experience required.

Willingness to train.

Responsibilities

Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation. Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.

Serves customers efficiently and friendly, following service steps and standards.

Ensures food is at the correct temperature, attractive and tasty, and tastes all prepared items.

Uses established ticket‑collection procedures during service; responsible for records from area worked during service periods.

Uses approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.

Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.

Stores foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating and food safety and rotation procedures.

Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to meet sanitation standards.

Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information and concerns to supervisor.

Attends in‑service and safety meetings.

Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.

Performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Performs other duties as assigned.
