Foodservice Cook

Skip-a-Long Childhood Centers, part of SAL Community Services, is the Quad Cities area’s leading provider of early childhood care and education. We provide a safe, secure and supportive environment centered on how playing can charge the mind of the children we care for.

As a Cook on our team, you will perform day‑to‑day operations involved in serving meals and snacks in a child care setting; Prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks for children and staff

Operate standard cooking equipment and utensils

Participate in the cleaning of the kitchen area

Purchase foods and plan menus in accordance with CACFP guidelines

Share a love for children and a passion for helping them learn, grow, and thrive

Knowledge of Child and Adult Care Food Program requirements and Food Service Sanitary license.
