HR Generalist - Nightshift

We're looking for an HR Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the center of all things HR. In this role, you'll help drive key people processes, support employees throughout their journey, and play an important part in building a positive, high-performing workplace culture. This role combines administrative excellence with employee-focused service, providing support across recruitment, onboarding, records management, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. This role sits onsite at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and may require occasional travel throughout North Carolina. Create and implement internal HR processes and procedures within ARAMARK guidelines.

Assists managers with routine HR matters including payroll, benefits, and record keeping.

Responsible for day-to-day HR functions including recruiting, staffing, hiring, training, coaching, and administrative tasks.

Follows ARAMARK policies and procedures and safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

May be required to work occasional nights, weekends as business needs arise.

At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. 2-5 years in office setting and administrative functions, experience in HR preferred, ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Computer/tech literacy required.
• Must be able to create, plan and manage creative HR strategies.
• Knowledge of EEO laws and general HR policies.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and willingness to help are required.
• Must be proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
