Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Weekend Shift Full Time
$17 - $18 per hourConnections
We are a company that provides care giver services to individuals who are developmentally disabled. All our group homes are in the Bloomington, MN area.
We currently are looking for Direct Support Professionals to work with our residents at several of our Bloomington homes. We have part time weekend positions available! 7am-3pm or 2pm-10pm shifts!
Starting Salary: $17.00-$18.00 hourly

DSPs provide a variety of services to our residents, and duties vary from program to program, but may include (but are not limited to):
Providing care giver services to our residents, including personal cares when appropriate and necessary
Cooking, meal preparation, and feeding assistance
Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
Participating in fun recreational activities with residents!
Needs experience in the health care field.
Is looking for an entry level opportunity as someone new or returning to the workforce and/or interested in the Human Services field

What skills do care givers need?
No degree is required! If you have a High School diploma (or equivalent) and are over the age of 18, we will provide all of the training that you need to provide high-quality care; no experience is necessary
DSPs are people-oriented - they assist individuals with their care giver skills, provide Home Services, and strive to improve their quality of life!
Care givers are adaptable and flexible - they enjoy doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction that keep their work day interesting
They are dependable - provide efficient and exemplary personal care assistance

On-going comprehensive full-wage paid training and 24/7 support
18 years of age or older
Basic computer skills
Willingness to do personal cares for residents, including bathing, toileting, dressing, administering medications, and lifts.
Connections Services, LLC will conduct a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study on all new employees.
