This role is based within CU Apprenticeships Ltd, a sister company of Coventry University and part of the Coventry University Group.
As a Claims Assistant working as a part of the friendly and close-knit Apprenticeship team, you will be responsible for a range of administration activities associated with the claiming of apprenticeship funding. Good general IT skills will be required, as well as a professional approach to resolving queries from the wider team or external clients and the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues across the University.
This role will also be involved in a wide range of other tasks to support the financial processes including management of the Digital Apprenticeship Service ensuring accurate records are maintained and learners are added in a timely manner to preparing and posting appropriate financial documentation including, but not limited to, purchase orders and sales invoices / credit notes. You will play an integral role within the team, helping to ensure funding is being claimed accurately while adhering to the ESFA funding rules. This is a brilliant time to join our team as we continue a period of sustained growth in apprenticeships that the University has seen over the past 5 years.
You will have experience of working in an administrative role and experience of working to regulatory guidelines and legislative framework.
Experience of working in a fast-paced administration/financial role would be beneficial, as would knowledge of Higher Education, Apprenticeships and/or Apprenticeship funding knowledge.
