Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Step Down unit.
Candidates should have experience in managing cardiac drips.
The position may require floating between units if overstaffed.
Weekend shifts are required every other week.
The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4-5.
Pre-approval for time off is allowed.
The unit provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services.
Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics.
Candidates will be required to manage various cardiac and telemetry cases.
Strong skills in patient assessment and critical thinking are essential.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate competency in all required skills.
Floating to other facilities may occur as needed.
Refusal to float may result in forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
Travelers must commit to working a certain number of holidays.
