Job Description
Job Description The Sales Engineer plays a critical role within a dedicated Sales Engineering team, reporting directly to the Sales Manager. This role supports both new customer acquisition and existing client relationships by leveraging technical knowledge and sales expertise. The Sales Engineer collaborates closely with sales teams to design solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and deliver compelling technical presentations. Occasional travel (10-25%) is required to engage with clients and support business growth.
Responsibilities
Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
Design tailored technical solutions to meet customer needs
Develop winning sales strategies and proposals
Deliver technical presentations to prospects and clients
Support post-sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction
Utilize company CRM and sales tools to track opportunities
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to drive deals
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales engineering roles
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Expertise in technical sales and product demonstration
- Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Strong solution selling and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
