Job Description:
If you want to make a significant impact as a Registered Nurse - Pediatric Progressive Care Unit (PPCU) in Tucson, AZ this position might be what you are looking for!
Responsibilities:
Strong knowledge of pediatric growth, development, and age-specific care needs.
Ability to assess and respond to pediatric emergencies, including respiratory distress and sepsis.
Provide specialized intermediate-level care to pediatric patients who are too critical for a general pediatric unit but do not require intensive care.
Assist with post-surgical recovery, respiratory distress management, cardiac monitoring, and chronic illness care.
Qualifications:
AZ Registered Nurse license
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) preferred
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN-Pediatric) certification preferred
BLS Certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
Job details:
Pay: $2,191.02 - $2,258.78 / week
Location: Tucson, AZ
Assignment Length: 13
Shift: Night 3x12 - up to 36.00 hours per week
Setting: Hospital
