Oncology Nurse (Full time & PRN)

Virginia Oncology Associates, the largest group of medical professionals in Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina devoted exclusively to cancer care and blood disorders, has an exciting opportunity for an Oncology RN to support our office in Hampton.

Employment Type: Full Time / Part Time / PRN. Administers chemotherapy, hydration, and other medications under the direction and supervision of a physician

Assesses and monitors therapy of patients using appropriate technical skills under the direction and supervision of a physician

Phone triage as assigned

Documents all elements of care

Serves as a resource to the Medical Assistants

Communicates all pertinent information and any interventions to the physician or advanced practice provider

Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education required; Oncology experience strongly preferred

Current RN state license required

Must be willing to travel between offices as needed
