HR Generalist - Employee Relations & Recruiting

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the HR department by managing essential administrative functions that ensure smooth and efficient HR operations. This position is responsible for coordinating new hire onboarding processes, maintaining accurate employee records, and assisting with benefits administration to enhance employee satisfaction and compliance. The coordinator acts as a liaison between employees and management, addressing employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality. By utilizing HRIS systems such as UltiPro, the coordinator ensures data integrity and timely processing of HR transactions. Ultimately, this role contributes to fostering a positive workplace environment while ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies.

Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience with HRIS systems.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline.

Experience with benefits administration and employee relations.

Professional HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP.

Familiarity with additional HR software platforms.

Coordinate and process new hire paperwork and onboarding activities to ensure a seamless integration of new employees.

Maintain and update employee records and databases accurately within HRIS systems.

Support employee relations by responding to inquiries, facilitating communication, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies by monitoring documentation and assisting with audits.

The required skills such as proficiency HRIS systems are essential for managing employee data and streamlining HR processes efficiently. Expertise in new hire paperwork and employee records management ensures accurate onboarding and compliance with regulatory requirements. Knowledge of employment law guides daily decision-making and helps maintain legal compliance across all HR activities.
