Quality Control Manager

Our client is a leading manufacturer of custom, high-quality retail display products. Over decades of success, they have built a strong reputation for innovative design, exceptional craftsmanship, and superior product quality. Their work can be found supporting many of the world's most recognizable brands in stores you visit and products you use every day. As the company continues to grow and strengthen its operations, they are seeking a Quality Control Manager to join their team near Lemont, IL. Manage and improve quality control processes across manufacturing operations.

Ensure products meet customer requirements, engineering specifications, and internal quality standards.

Oversee in-process and final inspections to maintain consistent product quality.

Maintain quality procedures, inspection plans, and documentation systems.

Monitor quality metrics and drive accountability for results.

Lead investigations into quality issues, non-conformances, and customer concerns.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality performance, delivery, and cost reduction.

Partner with operations and engineering teams to proactively identify and mitigate risks.

Coach, mentor, and develop quality personnel to improve performance and technical capabilities.

Provide guidance and training on quality systems, inspection methods, and best practices.

Build a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization.

Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Management teams to achieve business objectives.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred; 5+ years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.

• Previous experience supervising or managing quality personnel.
• Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience analyzing quality data and reporting performance metrics.
