Job Duties

Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional objectives

Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ research-backed methods to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living

Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, well-rounded care

Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and caregivers on therapy methodologies to support continued progress in home settings

Track and Update Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust interventions accordingly to ensure patients remain on track

Qualifications

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university

Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported

Licenses

Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory

Skills Required
