Position Overview K&K Technical Group is seeking a motivated, results-driven Technical Recruiter to join our recruiting team.
This position is focused heavily on candidate sourcing, screening, and qualification for engineering, manufacturing, automation, construction, skilled trades, and other technical positions.
The ideal candidate enjoys the hunt—finding qualified people, starting conversations, learning new technical skill sets, and identifying candidates who may not be actively looking for their next opportunity.
You’ll work closely with our recruiting team to understand client requirements, develop sourcing strategies, identify and screen qualified candidates, and prepare strong candidates for submission to our clients.
What You’ll Do Source and recruit candidates using job boards, resume databases, ATS platforms, internal candidate databases, referrals, and other recruiting resources.
Review open positions and identify the key technical skills, experience, education, location, travel, and other requirements.
Develop Boolean searches and creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions.
Review resumes and determine candidate alignment with client requirements.
Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate technical experience, career interests, availability, compensation expectations, and overall fit.
Ask targeted questions to uncover relevant experience that may not be clearly represented on a resume.
Present qualified, submission-ready candidates to the recruiting team.
Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future openings.
Maintain accurate candidate notes, activity, and status information in the ATS.
Follow up with candidates throughout the recruiting process and provide a positive candidate experience.
Prioritize recruiting activity based on client needs and hiring urgency.
Work closely with recruiters and management to achieve submission, interview, and hiring goals.
Develop an understanding of technical skill sets within engineering, manufacturing, automation, construction, and related industries.
What We’re Looking For Previous experience in recruiting, sourcing, staffing, or talent acquisition preferred.
Experience recruiting technical, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, construction, or skilled-trades candidates is a plus.
Experience sourcing through job boards, LinkedIn, ATS platforms, and resume databases.
Strong research and candidate sourcing skills.
Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging candidates throughout the day.
Ability to review resumes and identify candidates who meet specific job requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Organized and able to manage multiple open positions and candidate pipelines.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Ability to learn technical terminology and new skill sets quickly.
Comfortable being measured against recruiting activity, submissions, interviews, and hiring results.
Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new recruiting and sourcing technologies.
