We're seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to join our Legal team. In this role, you will support the General Counsel by managing legal operations, subcontract administration, and matter tracking, helping ensure that all legal, contractual, and compliance-related activities are handled efficiently and accurately.

Subcontract Administration & Contract Support

Support preparation, routing, execution, and tracking of subcontracts, amendments, purchase orders, change orders, and related legal documents
Track subcontract compliance requirements such as insurance, deadlines, and deliverables
Assist in resolving subcontractor payment disputes, claims, and documentation needs
Coordinate closely with Accounting, Operations, and project teams on contract-related matters

Legal Operations & Matter Management

Maintain and organize legal matters, documents, and deadlines using CounselLink+ as the central system of record
Manage legal calendars, reminders, and reporting schedules
Support reporting on claims, litigation, subcontract matters, and outside counsel spend

Coordinate matter assignments, document requests, and communications with outside counsel
Support invoice review, coding, and routing for approval
Track budgets, accruals, and legal spend in collaboration with Accounting

Claims & Litigation Support

Assist with claims, disputes, litigation, and bond-related matters
Coordinate document collection across departments and support discovery and litigation holds
Maintain key litigation deadlines and schedules

Corporate & Compliance Support

Support compliance tracking, contractor licensing, and Secretary of State filings
Assist with internal policies, regulatory inquiries, and legal documentation requests

Serve as a key liaison between Legal and departments including Operations, Accounting, HR, Safety, and project teams
Identify opportunities to improve processes, organization, and efficiency within legal operations
Paralegal certificate, bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in a legal or construction environment

• 3+ years of experience in a legal department, law firm, or related field (construction industry experience preferred)
• Strong experience with subcontract administration and contract documentation
• Proficiency in CounselLink+ (preferred) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Familiarity with construction contracts, insurance documents, bonds, claims, and litigation support
• Excellent organizational, document management, and calendaring skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
