Description Human Resources Coordinator
Full-Time, Year-Round | Mackinac Island, MI
We are seeking a highly organized, service-driven Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations, enhance the employee experience, and help foster a positive and engaging workplace culture across the resort.
The Human Resources Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for employees and plays an essential role in ensuring smooth, efficient HR operations. This position supports onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, and compliance while helping create a workplace where team members feel supported, informed, and valued.
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working with people, excel at organization and follow-through, and take pride in creating positive employee experiences in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Experience: Previous HR, administrative, or hospitality experience preferred
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; HR or business-related education preferred
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (Paycom or similar)
Professional Traits: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
Understanding of HR processes, employment regulations, and workplace safety standards preferred
