We’re partnering with a purpose-driven non-profit to find an HR Manager who thrives on variety, values connection, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. As the organization’s only HR resource, you’ll be trusted to handle the full spectrum of people operations, balancing the practical (policies, payroll support, compliance) with the personal (employee engagement, culture-building, and leadership support). What You’ll Be Doing Hiring with Purpose: Lead recruiting and onboarding to bring in the right talent, and set them up for success from day one.

Building a Great Employee Experience: Serve as a go-to resource for employees, helping managers and team members navigate questions and challenges.

Oversee benefits, policies, and procedures while acting as backup for payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Maintain and update HR documentation so everything runs smoothly and stays in line with federal, state, and local laws.

What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (HR certification a plus).

At least 5 years of broad-based HR experience - stand-alone or small-team experience is a plus.

Experience managing multiple priorities with professionalism and adaptability.

Familiarity with payroll systems or a willingness to learn.
